Partners

World Bank Equal Aqua

CWiW is now an Equal Aqua partner. CWiW enjoyed co-hosting our 2021 and 2023 public events with Equal Aqua on Conquering the Unconscious Bias and Learning From Practice: Systemic Changes To Support Women In Water.

Global Water Partnership

In 2021, CWiW was strongly supported by the Global Water Partnership (GWP), an international network whose mission is a water-secure world. GWP’s support of CWiW demonstrates the significance of the work each organisation does to address water challenges every day. Their 2021 support enabled CWiW to broaden membership and expand the number and regularity of CWiW activities, such as Learn and Shares. In 2022 CWiW and GWP partnered on several events including professional development training on confidence in both English and Spanish and GWP shared two interns with CWiW to help with expanding offerings and communications, including our Twitter account. GWP partners on several events including our annual events for 2021 and 2022.

Co-conveners

I experience woman-specific issues working in the water sector that I can’t always discuss with people in my team. Having an external support network is a real lifeline.
