Our Learn and Share events are interactive and a great way to share your experiences while meeting other members and learning from our keynote speaker.

For this 14:00 UTC session, we are pleased to have Dr. Muna Musnad, UNESCO Chair in Water Resources-Omdurman Islamic University, International Center for Water Cooperation (ICWC) Board Member, as the keynote speaker. 

Dr. Muna Musnad serves as a Director of the Research and Innovation Department at UNESCO Chair in Water Resources-Omdurman Islamic University (OIU), Sudan. She is also a member of the Women in Water Diplomacy Network Leadership Council and a Board Member of the International Center for Water Cooperation (ICWC). Dr. Musnad has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior researcher in water resources engineering, development and management. Dr. Musnad has a varied background with experience in Integrated Water Resources Management, water quality control and management, flood risk assessment and mapping, surface and groundwater modeling MODFLOW, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and GIS. Her vast research includes work with Riverside Company (USA) for ENTRO-NBI and the Nile Basin Capacity Building Network-River Engineering Project (NBCBN-RE). In addition, she is a lecturer in M. Sc. Program Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.
