CWiW expects all participants—particularly all its members—to behave professionally and cordially with others at all times but particularly during events and in our online platforms and forums.
CWiW events are set up to provide a positive and harassment-free experience for everyone attending, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of other participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers. All such issues will be shared with the Founder, Kathryn Pharr. If any issues are with members themselves, such negative actions could result in membership being withdrawn because a key feature of the Community of Women in Water is providing a supportive environment for members to grow.
