SUMMARY:15:00 UTC February Learn and Share: Water Justice
DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for a chance to Learn and Share about Water Justice with CWiW members around the world! Our Learn and Share events are interactive and a great way to share your experiences while meeting other members and learning from our keynote speaker. Our February event will reflect on what water justice means and looks like.\n\n\n\nJoin us for 15:00 UTC (9:00 St. Paul / 11:00 Halifax / 15:00 Lisbon / 17:00 Khartoum)\n\n\n\nFor this 15:00 UTC session, we are pleased to have Barbara Schreiner, Executive Director of the Water Integrity Network, as the keynote speaker. \n\n\n\nBarbara Schreiner has been the Executive Director of the Water Integrity Network (WIN) for the past three years. She has over 20 years’ experience in water and natural resources management in developing countries with a focus on good governance and addressing poverty and inequality, including gender and other forms of social and economic marginalisation.  Barbara was the first Executive Director of the Pegasys Institute, a not-for-profit organisation working to find African solutions to African challenges in the fields of water and infrastructure. Her service on boards includes the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), the International Steering Committee of the Global Water Partnership, and Chairperson of the Water Research Commission of South Africa. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n15:00 UTC not a good time? \n\n\n\nJoin us for 8:00 UTC on Thursday 24 February ( https://cwiw.org/events/feb22justice800/ ) (9:00 Zurich / 10:00 Lilongwe / 13:00 Karachi / 13:45 Kathmandu / 16:00 Kuala Lumpur)\n\n\n\nFor this second session, we are pleased to have Simi Kamal, Chairperson and CEO of Hisaar Foundation, as the keynote speaker.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is for members only, but any women working on water issues can sign up for free membership.
