In her role at Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) ( https://www.siwi.org/ ), Jennifer develops and communicates international policy positions about water’s role in climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience and the value of water as a connector across the sustainable development goals. he serves as a focal point for the water thematic group within the Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action. Her background includes fourteen years of experience in program design and management, research, external relations, and communications on a wide range of global issues including human rights, international justice, and foreign policy.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n8:00 UTC not a good time? \n\n\n\nJoin us for 19:00 UTC Wednesday 17 November  ( https://cwiw.org/events/june21leadership1900/ )9:00 Honolulu / 11:00 San Diego / 13:00 Tegucigalpa / 14:00 Baltimore / 20:00 Porto Novo\n\n\n\nFor this second session, we are pleased to have Ingrid Timboe, Policy Director at AGWA, and Pan Ei Ei Phyoe  as the keynote speakers.\n\n\n\nIngrid Timboe  ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/ingrid-timboe/ )is the Policy Director at the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA) ( https://www.alliance4water.org/ ). As part of her role of leading AGWA’s engagement on climate policy, she is AGWA’s water focal point for the Marrakech Partnership, coordinates AGWA’s work with the UNFCCC–particularly the Adaptation Committee, and is on the Steering Committee for this year’s first Water and Climate Pavilion at COP. She co-hosts the ClimateReady ( https://agwaguide.org/library/climateready/ ) podcast with Alex Mauroner. Her background includes six years at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) working with the Global Policy and Conservation Science teams before starting with AGWA in 2017.\n\n\n\nPan Ei Ei Phyoe is the Policy Consultant at the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA) and working as the Oxford Water Network Coordinator at the University of Oxford. With AGWA, she closely assists Ingrid Timboe on the Water and Climate Pavilion at COP26. She is an engineer by training and holds two MSc’s in water resources engineering from the University of Stuttgart and Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford. She had worked in Myanmar, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom regarding integrated water resources management (IWRM) strategies. \n\n\n\nThis event is for members only, but any women working on water issues can sign up for free membership.
